Thursday Afternoon
Monica, I would never do this blog if I thought for one moment it would upset Little Becka. I am heartbroken that she is upset. I know she is coming down next week and I will stay away. Rebecca will talk to her for me. You know I love her very much and would never do anything to ever hurt her.

I hope that you didn't take my message as anything negative. I feel as though Becca has truly matured with her questions about your illness. She is quite smart and understands more than we probably know. I think it is a blessing to have you in our family and a true treasure that you share your story with everyone. I am sorry if you took my message the wrong way. It wasn't meant that way. I want my children to learn to live life to the fullest from the beginning. Knowing people who aren't in perfect health, living the perfect way is a great way to teach our children that we are all human and that we need to all live our lives like this is the last day of our life.
